Construction dust does not wipe off — it moves. We work in passes, top to bottom, until surfaces stop turning grey an hour after we finish. Paint, plaster and adhesive removed too.

Post-renovation dust behaves differently to household dust. Plaster and MDF dust is fine enough to hang in the air for hours, settle into every horizontal surface including the tops of doors and the inside of light fittings, and reappear the moment anyone walks through the room. Wiping it once just relocates it.
So we work in passes. Loose debris out first, then vacuum everything including walls, ceilings, sockets and window tracks with a filtered machine, then wet-clean from the top of the room down. Then we let the room settle and go again, because the second pass is the one that actually finishes it. A single pass on a renovation is why people think the dust has come back.
Alongside the dust there is the residue: paint spots on glass and skirtings, plaster splashes on floors, silicone smears, adhesive and protective film left on new appliances and windows. Those come off by hand with the right blade or solvent for the surface, which is slower than it sounds and the part most general cleans skip.
Worked top-down, in passes, until the surfaces stay clean.

Four-hour minimum booking, per cleaner
Charged on our deep clean rate of £20 an hour with a four-hour minimum, so the smallest booking is £80. A renovation clean needs multiple passes and usually more than one cleaner, so send photos with your quote request and we will tell you the hours — or fix the whole job at one price.
Most London renovations happen in occupied buildings, which changes the job. Dust travels into the communal hallway, up the stairwell and under the neighbour's door, and in a block with a managing agent that becomes your problem rather than the builder's. We clean the communal route as well as the flat where that is needed.
Loft conversions and side returns bring their own version: a brand-new room that is spotless and a house around it coated in fine dust because the dust sheet came down too early. Tell us the scope of the work when you book, not just the number of rooms, because how much dust was made matters far more than the floor area.

Because it takes several passes rather than one. Construction dust settles for hours after being disturbed, so a room cleaned once looks grey again by evening. The price reflects the repeat passes and the hand work removing paint, plaster and adhesive residue.
We can, but it is usually a waste of your money. Any remaining cutting, sanding or painting will re-dust everything we have cleaned. If the work is in stages, we will clean the finished rooms and come back for the rest.
Yes. Paint spots on glass and skirtings, plaster splashes on floors, silicone smears and adhesive residue are removed by hand using the right blade or solvent for that surface. It is slow work and the part most general cleans leave behind.
We clear loose debris, packaging and protective sheeting as part of the clean. Genuine construction waste — rubble, plasterboard, timber — needs a licensed waste carrier, and we will tell you honestly if that is what you are looking at rather than take it on.
If they were down during the work, yes. Fine dust gets walked deep into the pile and vacuuming alone will not lift it. Hot water extraction deals with it, priced per room — speak with us for a figure — and it is cheaper booked alongside the builders clean.
