£65 an hour with a student discount on your ID, or a fixed fee for a single item. Built for halls, house shares and the one room you actually need moving.

Student moves are their own thing. It is usually one room rather than a flat, the destination is a house share where three other people are also moving in that weekend, and the budget is real. So the discount applies where students actually book: man and van, single-room moves and single-item transfers, on production of a valid student ID.
The base rate is £65 an hour with a two-hour minimum, which covers the van, the fuel, the congestion charge and a mover who does the lifting. If you are moving one thing — a mattress, a desk, a bike, a fridge for the shared kitchen — ask for a single-item transfer and it is quoted as a fixed fee with no minimum instead.
We work around halls, which is not a small thing. Move-in and move-out days at a hall of residence have time slots, sign-in desks and a lift that everyone on your floor is queuing for. Tell us which hall and which slot and we will plan the load around it.
Small, cheap and on a day that fits around term dates.
A fixed written quote before you commit — no deposit, no hidden extras.
Less the student discount on your ID
The £65 hourly rate is the standard man and van price, and the student discount comes off it. Single-item transfers are a fixed fee with no minimum. Mention your student status when you request a quote.
Access, parking and packing: stairs are not charged automatically but may be charged subject to other factors — flights, carry distance, item weight and whether a lift is working — and anything that could move the price is raised with you before we start. Parking is the responsibility of the client at every address, including permits, suspensions and any tickets or PCNs. Your goods are insured in our vans where we have not advised that an item needs packing; where an expensive, fragile or sentimental item is presented for bare transport we will offer to pack it for a small extra cost. The final decision is yours, and if you decline our expert advice we’d require a written confirmation by text and the item travels uninsured. Full detail is in our Terms of Service.
We move students across all 32 boroughs, which in practice means the same handful of weeks in September and June when every hall in the city turns over at once. Those dates fill first, so book early if your hall has given you a fixed slot — and if you have flexibility, the middle of the week is both easier to get and easier to park for.
End of term also means storage runs: a room's worth of belongings going into a unit for the summer rather than home. That is a straightforward single-room job for us, and the student discount applies to it in the same way.

Show us a valid student ID and the discount is applied to man and van, single-room and single-item bookings before you book. Mention it when you request a quote so the figure you see already includes it.
Yes, and you may not need the hourly rate at all. For one or two items ask for a single-item transfer, which is a fixed fee with no two-hour minimum — usually the cheapest way to move a single piece of furniture across London.
Yes. Tell us the hall, the date and the time slot you have been given and we will plan the load around it. Halls with a single goods lift and a queue on the landing take longer, and we would rather know that in advance than discover it on the day.
Yes. End-of-term storage runs are a normal single-room job for us, and the student discount applies. Give us the unit address and access hours when you book — most storage sites close earlier than people expect.
Yes, though a move outside London is quoted as a fixed job price rather than hourly. Send us both addresses and a rough list of what is coming and we will price it.
